MyFritz.net is the default gateway address of Fritz Box router which is made by AVM company. You can also login to this address and access Fritz Box router’s web based admin interface to manage different settings, such as changing router administrator password, configure network settings, ISP and DSL setup, WiFi SSID and password management, router security, and so on.
How to login to MyFritz.net?
To access MyFritz.net admin interface, you need to power on the router first. After it’s powered on, use a network cable to connect your PC to the router’s WAN port, or you can connect to the router through its WiFi network using a mobile phone.
Steps of how to login to MyFritz.net web interface:

- Open a web browser, such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox or Safari.
- Enter http://www.myfritz.net or www.myfritz.net into the address bar.
- You will be directed to the Fritz Box Router web interface login page, where you will be prompted to enter the Administrator Password. The Administrator Password is printed on a label on the back of the router.
- Enter the login administrator password, then click login.
- You’ll now be logged into your Fritz Box Router’s web interface, where you may make the necessary changes.
How to make your Wi-Fi network more secure
After you’ve logged into MyFritz.net, change the name of your WiFi network, which also named WiFi SSID.
WiFi SSID should not lead to any inferences about you as the WiFi network’s operator or its location.
Create a new WiFI password and assign it to the router.
Change your FRITZ Box router login password, please note that login password is different from WiFi password.

How to change WiFi SSID and password through MyFritz.net?
As previously stated, you may change several settings of both the router and your WiFi network using the router web interface, including WiFi SSID and password of your wireless network. If you wish to modify your WiFi network’s SSID or password, follow these instructions:
Change WiFi SSID:
- Login to Fritz Box router’s admin interface following above method.
- After you’ve accessed admin interface, look at the left menu, click WLAN > Radio Network, in some models, it’s ‘Wireless > Radion Network’.
- Tick the Wireless radio network enabled checkbox.
- In the Name of the wireless radio network(SSID) field, enter your new SSID.
- Then, click ‘Apply’ to save changes.
Change WiFi Password:
- Login to Fritz Box router’s admin interface following above method.
- After you’ve accessed admin interface, look at the left menu, click WLAN > Security, in some models, it’s ‘Wireless > Security’.
- Go to Encryption section, select WPA Encryption.
- In the WPA encryption section, choose your favorite WPA mode, you can choose WPA2 or WPA3 for more secured method.
- In the Network key field, enter you new WiFi password.
- Then, click ‘Apply’ to save changes.
After the changes are save, you need to reboot the router, then you will have a new WiFi SSID and password.
